Welcome to my space in the WWW..

The idea of this Internet site is to share my experiences with you and hopefully get you motivated to get out side and smell that fresh air, you do not have to go on a four week expedition, just to take a walk to the shop instead of the car is a good start. It does not matter if you are home bound and can not get out, you can still take part in this adventure and that of others. The gift to let the mind wander and live that which others have experienced is one of the most beautifully things we were giving, it would be a pity to neglect that...

I have worked in most places where others make holiday, and experienced some fairly hair raising situations from surviving a hurricane to having a python come out of a burrow from inside a termite mound I was using to hide behind and stay of the way of elephant !!, or being on the deck of a 90m motor sailor being winched onto a slipway when the cable brakes and almost takes my leg off....all this put together has given me a great amount of experience and a respect for the outdoors and the unknown, not knowing what the other side will be like is like taking a trip into the future and an adventure in it's own right, scary but cool!!! The greatest thing though is to get to this place you dream of, go through the hardship and come out at the other end a winner. It's such a cool feeling to pat yourself on the back and say WELL DONE !!!. I have never looked back and thought 'It would have been better to have stayed where I was' I have on the odd occasion been homesick but then who has'nt ??

Faction Adventures means FUN - ACTION and ADVENTURE, and I hope to bring this across through the site which is still growing under it's new coat of paint. Please come back from time to time, and keep an eye open for the lates news (Recent News Items)
